This is a method of using hot water to prepare traditional matcha, which is perfect for experiencing the delicate umami, sweetness, and smoothness of matcha.

How to brew Matcha

 
  • Prepare 2g of matcha by sifting it into a bowl to avoid any clumps.
  • Add 10cc of 80℃ water to the bowl and mix with a chasen to create a smooth paste.
  • Add 60cc of water to the bowl and whisk vigorously in a zigzag motion until a frothy consistency is achieved.
  • Enjoy your delicious bowl of matcha!
